These terms cover use of the 28 Shots app and website. By creating an event, joining one as a guest, or using this site, you agree to them.
28 Shots lets a host create a fixed-roll "disposable camera" experience for an event. Guests join by name, take a limited number of photos with no ability to preview or delete them, and the host receives the full gallery afterward. Some features (event tiers above the free allowance, discount codes, gifted print packs) involve payment, processed by Stripe.
There are no user accounts. Hosts and guests are identified by an anonymous device identifier. You're responsible for whatever device you use to host or join an event — we have no way to verify or recover an identity beyond that device.
Event tiers, discount codes, and gifted print packs are one-time purchases, not subscriptions, processed by Stripe. Prices are shown in GBP before you pay. Gifted print packs are fulfilled by a third-party print company (Prodigi) once the host approves the specific photos — refunds for print orders are handled case by case; contact us if something arrives wrong or damaged.
Guests own the photos they take. By using the app, you grant the host of that event a licence to view, download, filter, and print the photos taken during their event. We don't claim ownership of your photos and don't use them for anything beyond running the service (see our Privacy Policy).
28 Shots is provided as-is. We aim for the app to work reliably during your event, but we can't guarantee zero downtime, and we're not liable for lost photos due to factors outside our reasonable control (device failure, connectivity loss, etc.). If something goes wrong with a paid feature specifically, contact us and we'll make it right.
We can suspend or remove an event or account that violates these terms, particularly around illegal content or abuse of other users.
We may update these terms as the app changes. Material changes will update the date at the top of this page.
